Store Re-Opening


We're So Happy To Be Back!!

To keep our community and customers safe we have implemented new guidelines around the customer in store experience


1. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES?

 

  • As a first step of our re-opening plan we are excited to announce that our retail store will be open for semi - private shopping effective 5/15/20. Please see section below Do You Offer Private Shopping Appointments for further details.
  • We have adopted a number of alternate procedures designed to protect our customers and employees.
  • All employees are required to wear masks and are requesting our customers to wear masks as well. We’re all in this together! Our masks protect you and your masks protect us.
  • All employees are supplied with gloves to wear if they prefer. Regardless, we are requiring employees to wash or sanitize their hands frequently. We’re also providing hand sanitizer throughout our stores and welcome you to sanitize your hands frequently as well.
  • If you have a fever or do not feel well, please be courteous to our staff and your fellow customers and do not shop the store until you are symptom-free. We welcome you to order online or for curbside pickup instead!
  • We have also enhanced our cleaning protocols. The store will be regularly cleaned to CDC standards, including frequent disinfecting of high-touch surfaces (such as door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, PIN pads, etc.).
  • We are enforcing social distancing throughout our store. Employees and customers are required to practice proper distancing (at least six feet) at all times. We will be limiting the number of customers in a store to facilitate distancing. Please bear with us, at times this may mean we must ask you to wait outside the store at designated locations. You will also see social distancing markers within our stores to remind and guide you.
  • We are adopting contactless checkout and payments as much as possible. This means we will not accept cash payments at this time. and we will alter operations at checkout in order to limit physical contact .
  • We are revising fitting room procedures to permit social distancing and avoid physical contact. Fitting rooms will be cleaned between each use.

2. How will the store experience change when you reopen?

  • We are trying to provide you the store experience you know and love while accommodating social distancing and other procedures designed to keep you and our employees safe. Please see What are you doing to protect customers and employees? (above) for more details.
  • We ask that our customers and employees practice social distancing and stay at least six feet apart at all times.
  • To facilitate social distancing, we are limiting the number of customers in the store at any one time. Please bear with us, at times this may mean we must ask you to wait outside the store at designated locations.
  • We are adopting procedures to facilitate contactless payments. We will not accept cash as payment at this time. Please see Can I use cash to pay for my order? for more details.

3. Can I use cash to pay for my purchases at Hand In Pocket?

  • We are not accepting cash payments right now. We apologize for any inconvenience this safety precaution may cause you.

4. Do you offer curbside pickup?

Yes! We are offering Curbside Pickup. Simply place your order online and select curbside pickup. Call us at 678-309-9550 when you are outside of the store and we will bring your order to your car.

5. Have your store hours changed? What are your current store hours

We may be operating on alternative or shorter hours. As we navigate through this new normal we ask for your patience. Please reach out to us directly at the store at 678-309-9550 to make sure that we are open. Also please check our social media pages as we will make every effort to update our followers with our store hours.

6. Do You Offer Private Appointments

Yes, effective Friday May 15th Hand In Pocket will begin welcoming customers in our store by appointment only. The maximum number of customers that will be allowed in the store during these sessions is 4. In this manner customers will be able to shop while practicing social distancing.
